Appeal following fatal crash in Dingwall
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash near Culbokie on the Black Isle.
The incident happened around 9.40pm on Monday, 10 November, 2025, south of the Cromarty Bridge, and involved a white Ford Transit van and a black Ford Focus.
Emergency services attended, and an 18-year-old man was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
An 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to take place and re-opened at 6.30am on Tuesday, 11 November, 2025.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection and released pending further enquiries.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this extremely difficult time.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the vehicles prior to get in touch with officers.
“I’d also ask that anyone with dash-cam footage who were driving in the area at the time review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
