Appeal after firework put through window of property in Airdrie
Detectives are appealing for information after a firework was put through the window of a property in Airdrie.
The incident took place around 9pm on Wednesday, 5 November, 2025, on Mill Road.
There were no injuries, but the firework caused extensive damage to the property.
Detective Constable Martin Daly said: “Thankfully, no one was in the room at the time, but this reckless act had the potential to cause serious injury.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to trace whoever is responsible and I would ask anyone in the area at the time who saw anyone suspicious to get in touch.
“Similarly, anyone in the area with private CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage which may have captured the incident is urged to contact us.”
