Two people arrested in connection with money laundering and drugs offences.
A man and a woman have been arrested following a police operation in Dundee.
Around 12.55pm on Thursday, 22 May, 2025, officers from the organised crime unit stopped a vehicle travelling southbound on the A90, near the Glendoick junction. A search of the car was carried out and more than £20,000 was seized.
Following the vehicle stop, officers executed a warrant in the Earn Drive area of Tibbermore and arrested a 25-year-old man.
A further property in Honeywell Grove, Stepps, North Lanarkshire was searched under warrant and cocaine, worth an estimated street value of £200,000, was seized along with more than £60,000 in cash.
A 25-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with money laundering and drugs offences and are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Friday, 23 May, 2025.
