Two males arrested following serious sexual assault, Bellshill

Two male youths, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested in connection with the serious sexual assault of a 17-year-old female in Bellshill.

The incident occurred between 8.30pm and 9pm on Sunday, 11 May, 2025, and was initially reported to have taken place in Sandy Park. However, further enquiries have established happened within a property in the Bellshill area.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
