Two arrested and charged following high-value thefts in Perthshire

Two people have been arrested and charged in connection with high-value thefts in Perthshire.

The first theft occurred on Saturday, 6 April, 2025 at a distillery near the village of Blackford.

The second took place on Saturday, 12 April, 2025 at a distillery in Crieff.

On Monday, 5 May, officers executed a warrant at a property in Kelvin Gardens, Hamilton where a significant quantity of alcohol was recovered.

A 35-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were subsequently arrested and charged in connection.

Both appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 6 May.
