Appeal after serious crash involving pedestrian and car in Dundee
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Dundee.
At 1.05pm on Wednesday, 7 May, officers received a report of a crash involving a grey BMW and a pedestrian on Old Glamis Road.
Emergency services attended and the 45-year-old male pedestrian was taken to Ninewells Hospital with what are described as serious injuries. The 39-year-old male driver was not injured.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to take place and re-opened around 10pm.
Sergeant Brian McEwan, road traffic policing, said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
“I am appealing for anyone who saw the crash who hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us.”
