Appeal after hate crime at football match in Paisley
Officers are appealing for information after a report of a hate crime at a football match in Paisley.
Police were made aware of a video taken at St Mirren Park during the St Mirren FC versus Aberdeen FC match on Saturday, 3 May.
The video shows football fans chanting at the opposing side and is being investigated as a hate crime.
Inspector Megan Logan, Paisley Police Office, said: "This was a despicable action and we are keen to trace the individuals involved.
"Anyone with information on those involved is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2164."
