Man arrested following inquiries into hate related graffiti
A 62-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into incidents of hate related graffiti in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow.
Around 10.55pm on Wednesday, 30 April, 2025, police received a report of graffiti on Carmunnock Road.
The 62-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 1 May, 2025.
Inspector Chris Thomson said: "Graffiti is a blight on the community and my local problem solving team have been diligently responding to community concern for this type of graffiti within the Linn council ward area over the past few months.
"Detailed work in this area, alongside partnership working, has successfully led to an arrest.
"I would like to thank the public for their assistance and if anyone has any further information or concerns regarding any criminality, this can be raised with your local problem solving team."
