Man arrested and charged following attempted murder in Cumbernauld

A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Cumbernauld.

The incident happened around 9.20pm on Sunday, 4 May, 2025 on Main Road.

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

The 43-year-old is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday, 15 May, 2025.
