Cocaine and cannabis recovered following Ayrshire drugs search warrants
Three people have been arrested and charged after detectives in Ayrshire executed drugs search warrants at two properties on Tuesday, 13 May, 2025.
Officers discovered a cannabis cultivation at a property in the Misk Knowes area of Stevenston, with a potential street value of up to £120,000. A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. He is expected to appear at court on Wednesday, 14 May, 2025.
A quantity of cocaine was recovered from a property on Byrehill Place, Kilwinning, with an estimated street value of around £4000. A 42-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were arrested and charged. They are expected to appear at court at a later date.
The recoveries are not linked.
Detective Inspector Jamie Carruth said: “These seizures highlight our ongoing efforts to disrupt drug supply and protect those in our communities affected by illegal drugs.
“The operations underline our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
"We work every day to protect the public by preventing drugs being circulated on our streets. This is vitally important in addressing the concerns of local people across Ayrshire.
