Appeal for information following serious assault in Clydebank
Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault of a man in Clydebank.
The incident happened sometime between 10pm and 10.40pm on Monday, 19 May, 2025 in the car park at Dalmuir Close, Stewart Street, Dalmuir.
A 34-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Darren Boag of CID said: “The man was walking his dog within the local area when he was attacked. We believe a weapon was used to inflict his injuries.
“We are carrying out a review of CCTV and door to door enquiries to establish who was responsible.
“I would appeal to anyone who heard or saw anything to contact us. I would ask residents to check doorbell footage to see if you have captured anything that can assist our enquiries. I would ask motorists to do the same and check dash-cam footage.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 4159 of 19 May, 2025.”
