Appeal for information following assault and robbery in Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information following the assault and robbery of a man in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 11.10pm on Saturday, 17 May, 2025 on Vinicombe Street near to Byres Road.
A 27-year-old man was approached by two men, who took his scarf and assaulted him. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The first suspect is described as a white man, in his mid-20s, of slim build, wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
The second suspect is described as a white man, in his mid-20s, of broad build, with a full leg tattoo and an arm tattoo. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a black t-shirt and black shorts.
Constable Vhari McClements said: “This was an unprovoked attack and left the victim with a serious injury. Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to come forward.”
