Officers are appealing for information after reports of attempted housebreakings in Blantyre.

We received reports of a man approaching properties in Mossgiel Terrace, Nairn Avenue and Lochalsh Place on Monday, 5 May, 2025.

Local officers have been conducting door to door enquiries in the area and are asking residents who live nearby to check any private doorbell footage or other CCTV between 2am and 3am on the same date.

Please pass any information on to the Blantyre Community Policing Team by calling 101, quoting incident number 1031 of 5 May, or reporting via the ‘CONTACT US’ section on Police Scotland website.

You can also visit Blantyre Police Station which is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (closed between 12.30pm to 1.30pm).
