Appeal following wilful fire raising at school in Renton
Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire at a school in the Place of Bonhill area of Renton.
The incident happened around 1.15pm on Monday, 5 May, and was reported to police around 1.55pm.
The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there were no reported injuries.
Detective Constable Jemma Green said: “Thankfully no one was injured but the damage caused could have been much worse.
“Our enquires are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for information.
“Please get in touch if you saw anything suspicious and check private CCTV to see if anything has been captured that could help with our investigation.
“Likewise, if you were driving in the area around the time of the incident please check dash-cam footage and get in touch if there is anything that could assist officers.”
