Appeal after vehicle failed to stop in Elgin

Detectives are appealing for information after a car failed to stop when instructed.

Around 2.40pm on Friday, 2 May, we received a report of a grey Mini Cooper being driven in a dangerous manner in a car park in Blackfriars Road, Elgin.

The driver failed to stop for officers and made off towards Elgin town centre.

Detective sergeant Robbie Williams said: "We are keen to talk to anyone that saw this vehicle in the car park of Tesco before the incident on Friday or after it left.

"We are also looking for anyone with dash-cam footage from around that time to get in touch.

"Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting reference 2042 of 2 May, 2025."
