Man arrested and charged in connection with serious sexual assault in Edinburgh

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious sexual assault in Edinburgh.

On Tuesday, 29 April, we received a report of an assault on a 18-year-old woman in the Montgomery Street Park area of the capital.

The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 22 May, 2025.
