Suspicious fire in Industrial Estate in Dumfries
Officers are appealing for information after several vehicles were set on fire in Dumfries.
Around 3.55am on Monday, 23 June, 2025, police attended Catherinefield Industrial Estate after being alerted to seven vehicles being on fire.
No-one was injured in the incident but the vans have been completely destroyed.
Officers are treating the fire as wilful and an investigation is under way.
Officers are checking any relevant CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information which could assist the investigation.
Detective Sergeant Grant Drennan said: “I would appeal to anyone who has any information regarding this incident to contact us. If you were in the area and have any dash cam then please check your footage as it could provide us with further detail on who is responsible for this wilful fire-raising.”
