Three people arrested and charged following cannabis recovery in Dundee
Three people have been arrested and charged following the recovery of cannabis, with an estimated street value of £49,000, in Dundee.
On Monday, 23 June, 2025, Operation Argonite officers executed a search warrant at a property on Amond Gardens and the drugs, along with £2,000 in cash was recovered.
Two men, aged 39 and 27 and one woman aged 33 were arrested and charged in connection and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
Constable Alexander said: “We know the misery drug misuse can cause in our local communities and Operation Argonite works to disrupt the supply of illegal substances and trace those involved.
"This recovery means a significant quantity of drugs will not end up on our streets and underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
"Information and support from the public is vital to our work and I would encourage anyone with concerns about drug activity in their area to contact us via 101.”
