Man sentenced for drugs offences in Dundee
A man has been sentenced to 32 months in prison for drugs offences in Dundee.
Aaron Ogilvie, 30, was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh today, Tuesday 10 June, 2025, after previously pleading guilty on Thursday, 8 May, 2025.
Officers executed a warrant at a property on Ormiston Crescent on Wednesday, 17 July, 2024.
Quantities of heroin with an estimated value of £40,000 and cocaine valued at £51,000 were recovered.
Ogilvie was subsequently arrested and charged in connection.
Detective Sergeant Matthew Barclay, Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit, said: “This case reflects our continued commitment to tackling the illegal supply of drugs in the Dundee area.
“Information from the public is crucial in helping us to combat those involved in drugs activity in our communities. It is only as a community working together that we can tackle drug dealing activity.
