Man arrested and charged in connection with disturbance and attempted murder in Galston

A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance and attempted murder at a property in Galston, Ayrshire.

Around 8.05am on Saturday, 28 June, 2025 we received a report of a 55-year-old man having been injured in Cross Street.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers attended at the property where there was a subsequent disturbance.

The 33-year-old man is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, 30 June, 2025.
