Drugs recovered in Burnfoot, Hawick

On Friday, 30 May 2025, local officers, assisted by specialist resources, executed a drugs search warrant in Burnfoot, Hawick.

A quantity of controlled drugs, believed to be cannabis, with an estimated street value of £8000 was recovered.

A 27-year-old man and a woman aged, 38 years, have been arrested in connection with the find.

The male appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff court on Monday, 2 June, 2025.

The woman was released on an Undertaking to appear at court at a later date.

Reports have been submitted the Procurator Fiscal.
