Brandon Robb sentenced to seven years for sexual and domestic offences in Fife
A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being found guilty of non-recent sexual offences against children and domestic offences in Fife.
Brandon Robb was convicted on Thursday, 6 February, 2025 following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely when he appeared at the same court for sentencing, given a 20 year non-harassment order and a further six years on licence when he is released.
The offences were committed between 2011 and 2023. Robb was subsequently arrested and charged in August 2023.
Detective Sergeant Alasdair Young said: “Brandon Robb is a violent man and sexual predator who preyed on children and abused them. I hope that today they take some comfort knowing their abuser is behind bars as they continue to move forward with their lives.
“Investigating past events can present challenges and sometimes, only with hindsight, do people recognise what happened to them was abuse.
“Police Scotland has highly trained specialist officers across the country who investigate such offences and working with partners we ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
“We are committed to investigating all reports of abuse regardless of when it happened, where it took place or who was involved. We will listen, we will investigate, and we will take prompt action to ensure no-one else is at risk of harm. We would ask anyone wishing to make a report to contact us by phoning 101."
