Appeal for information following vehicle fire in Clydebank
Police are appealing for information following a vehicle fire in Clydebank.
Around 2.10am on Wednesday, 18 June, 2025, a white Seat Leon registration mark HX19 JKO was found alight on a slip road on the A82 northbound. The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
Constable Emma Gibb said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire.
“I am asking anyone who saw the vehicle on the northbound carriageway on the A82 near to the Auchentoshan Distillery at the time of the fire or in the hours beforehand to contact us.
“Also, If you saw the vehicle between Saturday, 7 June and Tuesday, 17 June in the areas of Medwyn Street and Haylynn Street in Whiteinch, I would also ask that you to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with any information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0243 of 18 June.
