Appeal for information following an attempted murder in Paisley
Detectives in Paisley are appealing for information following an attempted murder in the town.
The incident happened around 4.45pm on Thursday, 19 June, on Murray Street, close to the junction with Greenhills Road.
Two men riding electric bikes and dressed in dark clothing approached a 36-year-old man and assaulted him, before making off from the area.
Emergency services attended and the 36-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Detective Constable Stephen Solomon said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this incident and I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around this time to contact us.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything. In addition, there may have been passing vehicles with dash-cam footage so I would urge anyone that can assist to please come forward.”
