Appeal following wilful fire-raising in Oldmeldrum
Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire-raising in Aberdeenshire.
Around 8.30pm on Thursday, 26 June, 2025, officers were called to a fire at a derelict building on Colpy Road in Oldmeldrum.
The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and there are no reports of any injuries.
Sergeant Josh Kinnaird said: “Our enquiries into the circumstances of this fire are ongoing and I am asking anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the local area to contact us.
“I would also ask residents who have video doorbell, CCTV or possible dashcam footage to review it, as it may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.
