Two men arrested and charged in connection with road traffic and drugs offences in Perth

Around 9.30pm on Monday, 14 July, 2025, officers attempted to carry out a routine stop of a car travelling on Gowans Terrace towards Dunkeld Road, Perth.

It failed to stop, and a short pursuit took place on Crieff Road, Tulloch Road and several other roads in Perth until the car mounted the pavement on Fairies Road.

Officers recovered quantities of cash, cannabis, and mobile phones from the car’s occupants.

The 25-year-old male driver and a 19-year-old male passenger were arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences and drug offences.

Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
