Man charged in connection with the death of a man in Paisley

A 40-year-old man arrested in connection with the death of a 39-year-old man in Paisley has now been charged.

Around 2.35am on Thursday, 3 July, officers were called to the Greenock Road area.

Emergency services attended and the 39-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, where he died a short time later.

The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 4 July, 2025.
