Man arrested now released - Hailesland Gardens Edinburgh

A 25-year-old man who was arrested following an investigation into the discharge of a firearm in Edinburgh has been released pending further enquiries. 

The incident occurred on Thursday, 24 July, 2025 on Hailesland Gardens, Edinburgh around 3.40pm. 

A 23-year-old man attended hospital for treatment to injuries sustained to his arm from the incident. 

Enquiries remain ongoing.
