Man arrested and charged in connection with robbery of 86-year-old woman in Glasgow

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the robbery of an 86-year-old woman in Glasgow.

The incident happened on Bardowie Street around 3.30pm on Monday, 30 June, 2025.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 2 July, 2025.

Detective Constable Mark Milroy said: "Robbery is a serious offence and we understand the impact it can have, particularly on older members of our community.

"I'd like to thank the local community for their support, which has played a role in assisting our enquiries."
