Fatal road crash on Burnhead Road, Blairgowrie

Road policing officers are appealing for information following a fatal road crash in Blairgowrie on Wednesday, 23 July, 2025.

Around 9.30am, a Toyota Hilux crashed on Burnhead Road near its junction with Hill Street.

Emergency services attended, however the 54-year-old female driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant John McDiarmid said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died.

“Our enquiries into the circumstances continue and I would appeal to anyone who either witnessed the crash or who has any information that may assist us to please come forward.

"I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage which could assist to contact us."

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland through 101 quoting incident number 0879 of 23 July.
