CORRECTION - Five people arrested and charged following opening night of a festival

Five people have been arrested and charged in connection with various offences in and around the area of Glasgow Green following the opening night of a festival.

The offences included police assault, hate crime and outstanding warrants.

A sixth man was issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with a Breach of the Peace.

Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
