Appeal for information following wilful car fire in High Valleyfield

Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful car fire in High Valleyfield, Dunfermline.

The incident happened around 1.50am on Thursday, 10 July, 2025, on Catherines Wynd.

The fire was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.

Detective Inspector Graeme Dursley said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone with any information to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 0255 of Thursday, 10 July, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
