Appeal for information following vehicle fire at Longcroft Road, Hawick

Detectives are appealing for information following a vehicle fire in Hawick.

Around 4am on Saturday, 12 July, 2025 in Longcroft Road a white Vauxhall Corsa was discovered alight.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Detective Constable Jake Gibson said: “We are treating the fire as suspicious and I would appeal to anyone with private CCTV or dash cam footage from around the area to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 0764 of Saturday, 12, July.
