Appeal for information following disturbance in Saltcoats

Detectives are appealing for information following a disturbance and serious assault in Saltcoats.

The incident happened around 12.10am on Sunday, 13 July, 2025, on Argyle Road near the junction with Raise Street.

A 30-year-old man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital.

The first suspect is described as a man, with fair hair, wearing black shorts and a light-coloured jumper. The second suspect is a woman, wearing a full-length black dress and black, flat shoes. They made off along Argyle Road.

Detective Sergeant Daniel Small said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed this to contact us.

“We also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
