Appeal for information following a head on collision near Glenfarg
Officers are appealing for information following a crash near Glenfarg in Perth.
Around 3pm on Saturday, 12 July, 2025, police received a report of a head on collision involving two cars on the B996 between the A912 Bein Inn Road and Glenfarg.
A black Nissan Micra was travelling from Glenfarg towards Perth and a white Dacia Duster was travelling in the opposite direction when both vehicles collided.
Emergency services attended and both female drivers were taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The 82-year-old driver of the Nissan Micra died on Monday, 14 July 2025.
The 58-year-old driver of the Dacia Duster remains in hospital.
Sergeant John McDiarmid said: “Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch.
"If you have dash-cam, please check the footage for anything of significance. Any information could prove vital as we establish the full circumstances of the incident.”
