Appeal for information after teenager assaulted in Glasgow

Officers are appealing for information following an assault which occurred in the Saltmarket area of Glasgow on Friday, 11 July, 2025.

The incident happened around 1.45pm outside the main gate of an event in Glasgow Green, near Glasgow High Court.

A 15-year-old male was treated by medical staff at the scene.

Detective Constable Ross Gallacher said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we’re appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the area with private CCTV or dash-cam footage who may have captured something of significance which could help our investigation.”
