Appeal following wilful fire in Clydebank
Detectives are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Clydebank.
Around 12.35am on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025, we received a report of a van on fire outside a property on Angus Street, Clydebank.
Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no reports of any injuries but a number of cars were also damaged as a result.
The fire is being treated as wilful.
Detective Constable Iain McGill said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who has any information to contact us.
“I would ask anyone who was in the area and who may have dash cam footage or private CCTV footage which could assist to get in touch.”
