Appeal following serious crash on B6399, Hawick
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious one-vehicle crash in Hawick.
The incident happened around 12pm on Sunday, 13 July, 2025 on the B6399, just south of the access road to Pines Burn windfarm, and involved a white and blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 57-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
The road was closed for around eight hours while investigations were carried out and reopened around 8pm.
Sergeant Michael Shillington said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash and I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please contact us.
“In addition, anyone who may have been driving in the area around this time and has relevant dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch.”
