Appeal following serious crash near Creetown
Road Policing officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash on the A75 near Creetown.
Around 2.15am on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025, officers were called to a crash involving a blue BYD Seal and a white lorry.
The male driver of the car was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to take place and re-opened around 4pm.
Sergeant Colin Ramage said: “I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the A75 around 2.15am on Wednesday, 9 July, and saw what happened to contact us. Likewise, if you saw either vehicle prior to the collision and have information which may assist our investigation, please get in touch.
“I’d also ask drivers with dash-cam footage to review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
