Appeal following serious assault in Renton
Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in Renton.
The incident occurred on Station Street around 9.50pm on Tuesday, 8 July, 2025.
An 18-year-old man was assaulted by three men who got out of a parked car and a fourth man who arrived from the direction of Back Street.
The 18-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects are described as being aged between 20 and 30 years old and wearing dark clothing.
They made off in the direction of Back Street.
Detective Constable Calum Hall said: “This was a violent attack which left the victim with a serious head injury.
“Our enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and I would ask anyone who was in the area at the time to get in touch.
“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the area with private doorbell footage or CCTV that may assist our investigation.”
