Appeal following robbery and assault in Cumbernauld

Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery and assault in Cumbernauld.

The incident took place on Larch Court around 10.30pm on Friday, 4 July, 2025.

A 28-year-old male delivery driver was approached by two men who assaulted him, stole items from his car.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Gamberi said: “This was a traumatic experience for the man and it is vital that we establish the full circumstances of what happened and trace those involved.

“We have been carrying out extensive enquiries into this incident so far and now I am asking the public if they were in the area at the time and witnessed what happened to get in touch.

“Similarly, anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage is also urged to contact us.”
