Appeal following housebreaking in Dumfries

Officers are appealing for information following a housebreaking in Dumfries.

The break-in happened at a property in Summerpark Road sometime between 3.30pm on Saturday, 26 July and 4.45am on Sunday, 27 July, 2025.

Detective Constable Sarah Smith said: “We are appealing to anyone in the local area who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help with our investigations to come forward.

“Additionally, anyone who saw anything suspicious in the hours leading up to, or during the night into Sunday, 27 July, is asked to contact police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0781 of 27 July, 2025.
