Appeal following crash on the M77 near Newton Mearns
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a one car crash on the M77 northbound near junction 5 south of Newton Mearns.
The incident happened around 12.10am on Wednesday, 23 July, and involved a grey Volkswagon Polo.
Emergency services attended and the driver, a 19-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers, a 17-year-old male youth and an 18-year-old man, were taken to the same hospital for treatment.
The road was closed and re-opened around 9.20 am.
Sergeant Jim Dewar said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information that could assist to get in touch.
“If you were driving in the area at the time please check dash-cam footage to see if you have captured anything that may help with our investigation.”
