Appeal following break-ins in Balloch and Arden
Detectives are appealing for information following two housebreakings in Balloch and Arden.
Around 5pm on Saturday, 6 July 2025, police were made aware an outbuilding at Boturich Castle, Boturich Road had been broken into and vandalised.
Power tools and sports equipment, worth in the region of more than £8,000 were stolen and graffiti was sprayed onto the walls.
On Sunday, 7 July, 2025, police received a report three quad bikes, worth more than £22,000 were stolen from Auchendennan Estate in Arden.
Officers are not ruling out that both incidents are linked.
Detective Constable Eva Logan said: “I am appealing to anyone who was visiting these areas to think back and consider if they noticed anything unusual or suspicious. If you have any information regarding either incident, please do get in touch.”
