Man arrested and charged following dog attack in Dundee

A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged after two people were attacked by a dog in the Greendykes Road area of Dundee.

The incident happened around 2.10am on Sunday, 26 January. A 72-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries. A 73-year-old woman did not require medical treatment.

Following enquiries a warrant was executed at a property on Greendykes Road around 1.45pm on Saturday, 1 February, and a dog was removed from a property.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
