Woman who died in fatal crash near Linlithgow named
The woman who died following a fatal crash on the A706 near Carriber Mill can be named as Isabella Cordner, 87, known as Isa.

The incident happened around 6.55pm on Friday, 5 December, 2025, and involved a red Honda Civic and a silver Volkswagen T-Roc.
Emergency services attended, but Isa, a passenger in the Volkswagen, died at the scene. The 64-year-old male driver and a 63-year-old female passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old man, was also seriously injured and taken to hospital.
Isa's family has asked for privacy at this time.
The road was closed for eight hours to allow investigations to take place and was re-opened around 2am on Saturday, 6 December.
Sergeant Barry Sommerville said: "Our thoughts remain with Isa's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
"Our investigation into the crash is ongoing and I'd again appeal to anyone who was driving in the area at the time and who has not yet spoken to officers to get in touch.
"We are also looking to speak to the driver of a Range Rover who was driving along the road around the time of the crash."
