Man sentenced to four years for robberies and assaults in Fife
A man has been jailed for four years for robbery and assaults in the Fife area.
Stephen Gray, 35, pled guilty to the offences at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on 3 November, 2025 and was sentenced at the same court on Tuesday, 2 December, 2025.
In December 2023 he robbed and assaulted a taxi driver in Glamis Road in Kirkcaldy and on January 2024 he robbed and assaulted a delivery driver and stole her vehicle in Lumphinnians Road in Lochgelly.
Detective Constable Douglas Potter said: “Gray’s abhorrent actions have caused significant distress to his victims, who were just going about their day and doing their jobs.
"He will now face the consequences of his violent actions and I hope this outcome provides some closure to the victims.
"We remain committed to thoroughly investigating violent crime and ensuring those responsible are held to account."
