Officers following positive line of enquiry after dog attack in Glenrothes

Officers are following a positive line of enquiry following a dog attack in Glenrothes.

The incident happened around 11.40pm on Monday, 8 December, 2025 on Cadham Road.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be serious. No one else was injured by the dog.

A 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with a separate matter and taken to hospital for assessment.

A woman was also taken to hospital to be checked.

The dog was removed, and officers are liaising with the dog warden.
