Appeal after car fails to stop after crash with motorbike on M8 in Glasgow
Officers are appealing for information after a car failed to stop following a crash with a motorbike on the M8 in Glasgow.
Around 9.30pm on Sunday, 21 December, 2025, a White Suzuki 1050 motorbike was in a collision with a black Mercedes, believed to be an A Class or a GLA with a registration year of around 2019, near Junction 13, Provan Interchange.
The 50-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.
The driver of the car failed to stopped and the Mercedes would have sustained damage to its drivers side panel.
Sergeant Fraser McEwan, West Roads Policing Unit, said: "We are appealing for any witnesses with further information as to the identity of the car or driver to come forward.
"Maybe you witnessed the collision or have noticed a vehicle matching the description with such damage since the time of the collision.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 2944 of Sunday, 21 December, 2025.
"Alternatively details can be left anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
