Man sentenced for sexual offences against women in Stirling and Clackmannanshire

A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison for sexual offences against women.
Aaron Hunter was convicted of offences including rape and sexual assault at the High Court in Stirling on Friday, 14 November, 2025.
The offences took place in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire areas between 2017 and 2022.
Hunter was sentenced at the High Court in Kilmarnock today, Tuesday, 9 December, 2025.
Detective Inspector Forbes Wilson said: “Hunter is a sexual predator who now faces the consequences of his depraved actions.
“It can be very difficult to report these types of crimes. I would like to commend his victims for their strength in coming forward to officers. Their information was essential in helping us build the case against him and I hope this outcome provides them with some sense of closure.
“I would urge anyone who has been a victim of physical or sexual abuse to report it to us, regardless of when it happened. All reports are thoroughly investigated, and we have specially trained officers and partner agencies who will support you throughout."
